Preschool Teacher Assistant
Location: Chicago, IL
Type: Part -Time, with the ability of becoming Full-Time
About the Role:
We’re seeking a caring, enthusiastic Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our team! In this role, you’ll create and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of children. As a Preschool Teacher Assistant, you’ll guide your classroom with creativity and structure, ensuring a positive, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and execute age-appropriate, hands-on learning activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom that fosters exploration and creativity.
Build strong relationships with children, families, and team members to create a collaborative community.
Observe and document children’s progress, providing regular feedback to families.
Ensure compliance with all state licensing and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Must have a CDA, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
Willingness to be trained
Previous experience working in a licensed childcare setting for at least 1 year.
Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Current 15 clock hours
CPR and First Aid certification.
